What this site collects

Tidewake is a static site. There is no account system, no comment facility, no newsletter and no form that submits information to us. We do not ask for and do not store your name, address, telephone number or payment details anywhere on this site.

Our web server records standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page and user agent — for security and to understand which guides are being read. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of any individual visitor.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
