Corrections, local knowledge and access changes are all welcome — the atlas is only as good as the reports that come back from the water.
Write to [email protected] for anything at all: a correction to a tide window, a launch point that has changed, a hazard that has appeared or gone, a bail-out that no longer works, or a question about something in a guide.
We read everything. Corrections that come with the source — an almanac page, a harbour notice, a date and a photograph — are acted on far faster than a general impression, because they can be checked against the pilotage fields rather than guessed at.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give conditions advice for a specific day, cannot tell you whether it is safe to paddle somewhere this afternoon, and cannot provide instruction or guiding. Those questions belong to a local club, a coach or the coastguard, and they need someone looking at the water rather than at a screen.
